Lucky Number 7 continued…
A few weeks back (Dec 15 2011) Jack posted a photo of the seventh life-ring at Barleycove with the sand covering the post.
I was thinking of this and how dramatically the sands shift, sometimes over night, and the energy at play, the tsunami that carried the sands here, and of course recent events across the world. So I made this photo to record the changes over the course of a couple of weeks.
Maybe as a project within this Mizen Photo Blog, when we visit Barleycove through the year grab a shot of Lucky Number 7 (I’ll make a Tag for it) and we can pull them all together and make a time-lapse short film, each photo being a frame contributed by you.
We would need a lot of photos to make a 15 min time-lapse film, maybe it would deserve a blog of its own? What do you think? If the response is good and the film becomes possible I’ll contact the Fastnet Short Film Festival, to see if we could then show it during the festival - this year? we’d have to get busy, so maybe for 2013.
Any thoughts or if any one wants to direct or see this through please say so and get in touch.
